Donation and Volunteer Opportunities
Oak Forest supports local and global mission projects: 
  • Members of the church prepared, transported and served lunch to the staff at Oak Grove High School on Monday, May 7, 2018 in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week.
  • On Monday, May 7, 2018, two members from church helped build a 42-foot ramp at a local lady's house so she could get to her doctor's appointment. The members were part of the Western North Carolina United Methodist Conference Disaster Recovery Team.

Regular Activities
  • Crisis Ministry of Davidson County - monthly meals are prepared and served by various groups to the shelter in Lexington, NC. And bags of sugar and flour are collected monthly.
  • Helping Hands - provides help (household and financial) to eligible community members
  • Timeless Food Ministry - provides meals to members of Oak Forest going through a temporary hard situation like a death or hospitalization.
